Student Connection & Referrals

Teachers are encouraged to connect naturally with students before and after class.

If a student expresses interest in memberships, private sessions, workshops, or gatherings, teachers are asked to forward the student’s name, phone number, and email to the studio owner so appropriate follow-up can be provided. Teachers are not expected to sell, only to support warm, thoughtful connections.

Substitute Policy

If a teacher is unable to teach a scheduled class, a substitute may be requested from within the Pure Heart teaching team. All substitutions must be approved by the studio owner. Outside substitutes are not permitted.

Compensation

  • $20 per class

Private session rates may adjust over time to support studio sustainability.

  • Pay is issued weekly (typically Sunday)

  • Occasional same-day payment may occur when possible

Wellness & Growth

Teaching is energetic work. Teachers are encouraged to honor their own wellness and pacing to support longevity and prevent burnout.

While not required, teachers are encouraged to experience classes as students when possible. Receiving from others supports inspiration, growth, and a deeper connection to the practice and community.

Communication & Scheduling

  • Advance communication is appreciated when availability changes

  • Timely notice is requested in cases of illness or unexpected circumstances

  • Clear, respectful communication supports the studio and students

Confidentiality & Professional Boundaries

All student information, attendance, and interactions are confidential. Teachers may not confirm or discuss a student’s presence in class with anyone, including family or friends.
